Balong as told by a Friend
No one ever knew that this young "boy" who graced the streets in Dadiangas East as Balong would eventually become one of the country's finest and most admired and transformed college instructors (lol. hehe). Tagged as MSU's Atik Superstar, Junerey continues to gain the admiration and respect that many thought only a celebrity would have.

His teaching ability and prowess to draw a crowd have been recognized by many and have paved the way for him to rise above his contemporaries in education. He was nominated several times for Best Faculty and best Kwanggol  Teacher in numerous award-giving bodies and he won his first Best Faculty trophy at the Gensan College Awards of the year 2004.

He became a familiar sight at Gensan College as he starred from one subject taught to another. We saw him evolve from being a child to a dramatic teacher in the family. He made everyone hope for a better life in his teaching career, and he gave his best performances in a variety of roles as an Educator. Today, he still stars in a daily teaching.

Truly, people haven't gotten enough of this mentor. Even in the big world, his methods became box office. No one can deny Junerey's prowess when it comes to acting in front of the students.

Young as he is, his brightness has paralleled those who have been in the teaching profession for so long, even to the point of exceeding some of them. Undoubtedly, Junerey is one bright star that can't easily be turned out. But the most amazing part about his success is, this star has remained the kind, polite and humble person that he has always been.
